Irony was set up by artist blacksmith Charles Mallon eight years
ago.
We make all kind of metalwork from large structural pieces to small
awards or gifts.
Everything is made to order, we don't mass produce.
We love working with other artists and designers to create new
pieces. The bigger the challenge, the more we like it.
Occasionally we have some pieces available for sale, these are
listed on our 'For
Sale' page.
We work in both forged and cast metal and can provide chrome or
nickel plating, click here for full
details of what we can do.
"I have worked with Charlie Mallon on various projects during
the past few years. He created the main feature for the garden designed
by myself and Sir Terence Conran at the Chelsea Flower Show 2008.
I have found him exceptionally talented, a joy to work with and
a person who embraces the excitement of every new possibility. Charlie
has an approach of working with the design and its designer and
as well as making our dreams come true, brings the magical touch
not often found these days."
